Due to our continued success and growth we are looking for a new ambitious Store Supervisor to join our team in Blakes cross, Lusk, Co. Dublin. This position is ideal for a self-starter looking to grow their career with an industry leader.
As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Shop Manager in the following areas:
- Assist with managing the day to day operations of the Shop
- Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times
- To deal with customer complaints in a professional and pleasant way
- Ensuring that staff are up to date with current promotions
- To delegate and communicate effectively with staff
- To motivate, coach and mentor your team daily encouraging consistent performance and growth
- To drive excellence across the team and ensure best practice at all times
- Working to all company policies and Health and Safety procedures
- To maintain the stability and reputation of the shop by complying with legal requirements.
- To undertake additional duties as maybe assigned by the shop manager
Requirements for the job of Store Supervisor
- 2 - 3 years Supervisory experience or equivalent
- Team Management
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in driving a fast paced high volume shop

Primary Purpose of the Role: To load, transport and deliver oil in a prompt, professional and safe manner in accordance with Company and legal standards. To ensure truck and maintenance schedules/paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
The Job:
Customers:
- To treat all customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- To provide all customers with a safe and professional service in accordance with company delivery procedures
- Maintain good relations with existing customers
- Promote the company, service and products at all times
- Be alert to sales opportunities and pass relevant leads to the Depot
Vehicles:
- Drive your vehicle is a courteous and safe manner with regard to other road users and in accordance with road legislation and company policies and procedures
- Ensure the best care and use of the Company’s vehicle and equipment
- Report vehicle defects to supervisor immediately
Vehicle Loading And Delivery:
- Load/unload your vehicle safely in accordance with Company procedures and legal standards.
- Deliver oil to customers in a safe efficient manner in accordance with Company procedures.
- At all times handle oil giving due care and regard to the environment.
- Load your vehicle taking into consideration delivery route and load distribution required for each day.
- Report any spillage immediately to your supervisor, attempt to contain the spillage in accordance with Company standards
Administration:
- Complete the drivers stock reconciliation sheet on a daily basis
- Complete a loading docket for each loading to your truck
- Dip vehicle tanks daily or as required and ensure all stock figures are accurate and correct
- Ensure all delivery dockets are kept in an orderly fashion and handed into the office at the end of each day
- Complete daily and weekly vehicle checklists as required
- Read the Company Drivers Handbook carefully and follow the guidelines as required
- Complete detailed written incident reports
Cash:
- Ensure all cash received from customers is crosschecked with your daily reconciliation sheet and handed into the depot daily
Other
- At all times carry out all operational aspects of job with regard to documented company policies, procedures and safety information contained in the Drivers Handbook and other Company documents
- Avoid loss or damage to goods or property
- Participate in all company training and awareness programmes
Experience and Qualifications
- Must hold a current C License
- ADR / Haz Chem certificate is essential
- CPC Certificates essential
- Experience in the Logistics / Freight or Ideally Oil industry is essential

- Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies.
- Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous customer service experience
- Initiative and a good work ethic
- Previous experience of working in a deli would be very advantageous but not fully essential as full training will be provided.
- Good at multi-tasking
- The role will involve early morning, evening and weekend work so flexibility is a must

Business Process Coordinator
Top Oil has a vacancy for a Business Process Coordinator on a permanent basis. This role is based in our Head Office Top Oil, Block P1 EastPoint Business Park, Dublin 3.
Job Title: Business Process Co-ordinator
Reporting to: Business Process Supervisor
The Direct Department provide business/process support for our 25 depots. These depots are responsible for all processing/administration (closing stocks daily/bank recs etc.) within their own sites as well as 22 company owned licensee sites. Direct also manage stocks and provide process support for our 25 Fuelcard locations.
Main Purpose of Job:
Working within the Business Support team to support the network of depot locations both in ROI and NI by ensuring all monthly processing at depot level is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Monitoring, auditing and reporting on key areas of the business to include stock management, cash controls, bank reconciliations, audits and monthly KPI’s.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of liaison with the depot/retcom network on queries, dealing directly with or escalating queries as required to team members and management
- Responsible for reporting on all licensee sites. This includes weekly balance reports, monthly reconciliations and preparing monthly handling fees
- To provide business support to the management team within the Direct channel
- Coordinate the completion of bank reconciliations across the depot network
- Carry out audits of depots/retcom sites on a monthly basis to ensure full compliance with company standards
- Prepare routine management and ad hoc reporting to include – Stock Reports, Domestic Debtors, Cash Analysis on a daily, weekly, monthly basis Work with the department and depot network to ensure month-end close off is completed fully and on time each month
- Communicating regularly with the depots and identifying corrective action in line with the policy requirements
- Analyse information relating to stock and cash transactions daily, weekly and investigating these discrepancies as necessary with depot staff
- Process stock and cash transactions for a number of company owned locations on a daily basis
- Raising invoices/credit notes on a monthly basis
- Processing vouchers on retailers accounts
Qualifications Required:
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong excel skills essential
- Working knowledge of in-house ERP system (JDE preferable)
- Accounting Qualification desirable e.g. IATI
- Bank reconciliation experience required
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Background working in the retail environment an advantage
