We are delighted to unveil the judges for this year’s Top Oil Amateur Photography competition: Gerard Boylan, Jonathan Forrest, Colin Culliton, Shane O’Neill and Iris Kavanagh.

Gerard BoylanGroup Chief Executive - Top Oil

Gerard joined Top Oil as Financial Projects Manager in 1999, promoted through various roles including Finance Director & Commercial Director. Appointed to General Manager Top Oil in 2006 and appointed Group Chief Executive in December 2009. Previously 8 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers culminating as a Senior Manager in Transactions Services Group specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions and Due Diligence Assignments. Gerard is a qualified Chartered Accountant with Degree in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University (DCU).

Jonathan ForrestCEO – In the Company of Huskies

Jonathan is the founder and CEO of In the Company of Huskies. Established in 1999, the agency quickly grew to become Ireland’s largest and most awarded Digital Agency, with a blue chip client list that now includes Nissan, Fyffes Ireland, GAA, Willian Grant, Fáilte Ireland, Guinness Storehouse and Sage. Jonathan is a Board Member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and a lecturer of the MSc in Digital & Advertising Communications at DIT.

Colin CullitonCEO The Printed Image (TPI)

Colin is the CEO of a Marketing Communications Company called TPI Group. Colin established with five other The Printed Image at twenty five years of age in 1990. His business has grown from a small print firm to a six company strong group that now employs 140, with two offices in Dublin Ireland and one in the UK. TPI Group supplies some of Ireland’s largest business organisations with a range of marketing and bespoke communications materials. TPI regularly is involved in Design, Photography, Creative Campaigns as they try to embrace innovation in every aspect of their work. Residing in the Dargle Valley in Wicklow with his wife Fiona and three children, outside of his work, Colin is an Irish Chapter board member and Membership. Chair of EO Ireland, part of EO Global the International Entrepreneur Organisation. Colin was a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2016.

Shane O’NeillPhotographer - SON Photography

Shane O’Neill is a graduate of Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. He specializes in Corporate and Public Relations Photography and is based in Dublin, with over twenty years’ experience. In his day to day work Shane provides imagery for corporate firms, Semi State bodies and Government Departments. His images appear regularly in national and international media. He has travelled extensively abroad in Asia, Europe and North America for the Office of the President of Ireland. In addition to his commercial photography he is working on number of personal projects. Shane is a previous winner of the Irish Professional Photographers Association, Press and PR Photographer of the year and his images have been part of the Press Photographers Association of Ireland’s annual exhibition.

Iris KavanaghCommunications & Marketing Manager – Top Oil

Iris joined Top Oil in 2016 as Communications and Marketing Manager. In her role, Iris is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and brand development strategies at Top Oil. Iris is responsible for evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and the design and implementation of marketing strategy and plans for Top Oil, in addition to both internal and external company communications. Iris brings with her over 10 years’ experience as a marketing and communications and retail professional. Previously, Iris worked as Head of Communications and Corporate Responsibility, Northern Europe for global food and facilities company Aramark.
